About Denise M

Denise trained as a graphic designer at the Durban Art School. She then went on to work as a designer for various design studios and advertising agencies in Durban and Johannesburg. With this collective experience she became a graphic design lecturer for a number of years at various design training institutions in Johannesburg, culminating at the AAA School of Advertising where she was HOD for the Prelim years.

Watercolour paintings were juggled into busy travelling and lecturing schedules and some work featured in local exhibitions. On returning to KwaZulu Natal, her teaching programmes switched to school environments, teaching art to grade 12 levels, home teaching and watercolour workshops for aspiring artists. Since lectures and teaching pressures have eased up the brushes are beckoning once more. New inspirations of God's amazing natural world have renewed Denise's enthusiasm to explore new works, opportunities and styles.
