About Vanessa

Vanessa Bentley started drawing as a young child and it was therefore no surprise that she went on to study Art at Newcastle High School and then the Pretoria Technikon.

Vanessa was born to create, from graphic design to the stillness of painting. Even though she put her art aside when she started a family, being an artist never faded.

She uses a variety of mediums from pencil, charcoal and pastels to watercolour and oils. Passion is the word to describe Vanessa, enjoying the quietness while listening to the bristles of a brush on the canvas.
