Petro Lotriet

Petro is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Petro Vermaak-Lotriet is a born and bred Capetonian. She spent her childhood in Bellville where she later matriculated. She started sketching at early ages. After marrying and raising two boys and a girl, she started painting professionally. She took art lessons privately.

All her paintings are unique both in style and nature. She specializes in oil paintings on canvas, mainly landscapes, seascapes and still life. Her work is mainly of Cape Cultural Heritage nature and thereby taking more than memories form this wonderful part of the world back home.

Petro’s work is in private collections in. United Kingdom, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Australia, America, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

Exhibitions

She participates in exhibitions at venues such as Bien Donne – a historical landmark near the Franschhoek Valley, High Rustenburg Hydro, which is patronized by a wide variety of overseas visitors as will as private exhibitions. She has a permanent display in Stellenbosch.
