Lynette Meyer

Lynette is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Inspiration is everywhere; old trees, people's expressions, a child playing alone on the beach, war-torn faces, there is even beauty in a broken sea shell!
I prefer doing pencil sketches as I find it the easiest way to capture the intricate detail, like the wrinkles on a old man's face, but I also enjoy experimenting with vibrant colours in my paintings. Art has always been my passion but has been up to recently more of a hobby than a career, but I would love to be able to be a full-time artist.
