About Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie Moore

Anne-Marie is a qualified teacher who inspires artistic concepts to inquiring minds. She is the author of three books on calligraphy and is a contributing author to a compilation of poems and short stories.

Anne-Marie’s love of the written word, creativity and spirituality inspires students to delve deeply into their own creative core for new and exciting experiences. Her work in women’s studies gives her insights into the complex subject only now being explored.

Anne-Marie's book focusing on child abuse launched in September 2004 at an exhibition in the UNISA Art Gallery. It explores the crime of child abuse in South Africa and links with the creative process she has been exploring over the past few years. 'Tainted Angels' - a social comment on child abuse with illustrations by both Anne-Marie and Chris Diedericks the designer of the book. This is a collaboration of words and art highlighting a social scourge in a sensitive yet provocative manner. Proceeds of the book will be donated to the Teddy Bear Clinic. 'Tainted Angels' can be ordered from Anne-Marie
She has written several books on calligraphy. These books are still available
Anne-Marie is currently working on a book of poetry which will be launched at the end of 2009.
