About Jo-Anne

What inspires me to be an artist is that somehow it turns me into a creator. It is the most wonderful feeling to see something appear on a blank board. My love is for nature, all aspects of it, and its inspiring to me to be able to create the beauty of nature that I see all around me. Its a pleasure to pass on this beauty to everyone else. My first love is to visit the game parks with my camera. I have loved photography since I was a little girl, trying to take close-ups with my mother's box camera!!! I am now 73 years of age. Box cameras were all they had those days.

Exhibitions

I have had no less than a dozen of my photographs exhibited all over the world. In Canada, South Africa, England, America.
Trained in England for video photography and as an entrant in a video competition, received an award Presently my work is all over the world, America, Canada, Australia and England. My photo submitted to 'A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SOUTH AFRICA'some years back was accepted for publication.
