Merit Prize: painting (Arts Association).
1998: • Kempton Park Tembisa Fine Arts Award. Second Prize.
• Technikon Pretoria. Honorary colours-International recognition.
1999: • Sasol Scifest '99. First Prize: Trip to Paris - Sponsored by the French Embassy and Institution for Research Development, Grahamstown. Competition theme: Art and Technology
• Newsmaker of the year 1999 at Technikon Pretoria
2000: • Kempton Park Tembisa Fine Arts Award. Second Prize winner
• Rector's Award 2000 - Technikon Pretoria
2001: • Trophy for service from 1989-2001 - Department Entertainment Technology, Arts Faculty - Technikon Pretoria
• Merit Prize - Newsmaker of the year 2001, Technikon Pretoria
2003: • IOC Olympic art Competition, National Winner (Sculpture Category) 2003 (Paid attendance at the senior Delphic Games 2005)
2004: • 2004 Olympic Sport and Art Contest. International 4th Prize for sculpture category. Diploma of Recognition - additionally, work will be exhibited at Olympic Museum Lausanne Switzerland until June 2004 and then to Athens for display during the Olympic Games in August 2004
2005: • Special Delphic Award for outstanding presentation in the discipline of art installation - 7 Sept 2005, 2nd International Delphic Games held in the city of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
• Helgaard Steyn Award for outstanding sculpture for the installation: "Showcase" (part of the permanent collection of the Oliewennhuis Art Museum, Bloemfontein), awarded on 17 October 2005 at the University of North West.

2009:• Two installations (Guests, 2000 and Unknown, 2004) included in the exhibition entitled Decade ( highlights from 10 years of collecting for the Sanlam art collection), University of Johannesburg Art Gallery, 5 March – 23 April).
