About Jeanette

I am inspired by beauty of all kinds, from spectacular nature scenes to everyday "plain" objects with their own story to tell. We are all complex beings and I find exploring detail as interesting as looking for the meaning in the "big picture".
Although I don't paint full-time, creating art is a constant niggle that I have to come back to, even after a long absence. Something seems to grow in me in the absences, and when I start to paint again, it's often totally different from when I stopped.
I believe we all should do something to make the world a better place, and bringing beauty to others is my small attempt.
