My mother always inspired me as she prepared to feed us everyday.She was always the last to feed but always the fisrt to prepare a new day.That always gave me the reason to work hard with my school and as i made this painting I ha a felt her love that gives me that sense of belonging.

The bright lights and sometimes the not so bright life cast in long shadows
The sweetness, that suffering and the spirituality
The momentous celebrations, that peace and that loving
All the emotions involved, all those questions you and I ask on things around us
So as I paint, I float afar and yonder
Sometimes I scream, I whisper, I sing onto the canvas
Sometimes I chant as I get charmed by the forms around me,
The people and wildlife, the land,sea and sky scapes,nature!
In conspiracy with colours and the canvas
I say that which in words I stutter but could mirror in the backyard sand since childhood!
