About Moira

Moira Rodinis

Moira is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Moira’s passion for sketching began at an early age. She was fascinated by the idea of recreating the beauty of her surroundings – figure, face, or flower.

She spent three years refining her artistic style at the Johannesburg Technikon after leaving school, but only started painting full-time when she moved to Cape Town in 1997.

She paints in oils and has a particular interest in flowers and portraits.

In 2005, she won first place in the Eleanor Palmer Competition for a portrait of Armin Mueller-Stahl, who took part in the feature film “The Story of an African Farm” which was written and produced by her daughter.

Moira has been represented by several art galleries in and around Cape Town and her paintings have been sold to buyers in the U.K., Switzerland, Canada, and America.
