About "Side by Side"

The dogwood is a magnificent tree with small delicate flowers. The unusual, interesting shapes inspired me. To magnify these blossoms and exaggerate their shape and colour was a challenge I accepted. Hence Side by Side was created.

About Pamela

After studying art with distinction, she returned to her easel when her children grew up. Today she runs two art studios, but her happiest hours are still spent creating.

Her work celebrates macro floral art - especially hydrangeas - where petals cluster and seem to hold their fragrance. For Pamela art is an inner journey to peace.

She also explores semi-abstract paintings, using mixed media, and skyscapes, always chasing the elusive light, colour and mood.
