About Nkoali

Nkoali Nawa

Born, lived and worked in the working-class area (Gold-Fields). Nkoali worked as manual underground labourer in Goldfields mines. His indelible underground experiences greatly inspired him to depict the lives of the ordinary mine labourers.
He also depicts everyday life scenes from urban and rural environments.
