In his capacity as a photographer he travels extensively, in particular around the Western Cape and after every trip comes back with a fresh selection of images - landscapes, people, street, sea or farm scenes. He choses content for his sensuous still lives - of fruit and domestic objects - for their colour and simplicity. He passes on his inspiration through giving watercolour lessons at Frank Joubert art school in Cape Town. All his paintings are also available as digital prints.
