I saw an elderly lady doing her daily shopping and she was dressed astonishingly young and modern for her age. Her image inspired me most when next I took up my brushes and Trans State was the creation of that mood.

Aliscia Nadine van Lelyveld: Modern abstract art is my subject of choice. I do concentrate on capturing a form of detail that is very hidden in a painting.I love to play with colours and incorporate them in flowing and captivating patterns that are easy on the eye and create a feeling of well-being.My work must create a screen of enchantment, leaving you feeling captivated in a possitive way.I keep my work interesting.
My creations are mostly inspired by my moods, therefore each creation is unique as a subject. I do not catagorise my technique as a specific style, but rather generally abstract and interesting.
