About "Tugela Falls "

The Tugela Falls is the highest cascaded waterfall in the world with a total drop of around 950m (or 3100 ft), although the Angel Falls ranks as the highest single uninterrupted drop. Nevertheless, the Tugela Falls are spectacular as they plummet over craggy basalt edifices.

The protea flowers on the left give a sense of distance and add some colour in the form of magenta-pink petals, while the mist amplify the immense spatial volumes and contribute to the recession and scale of the monumental mountain massif.

Born in March 1970, the artistic career of Casey started at a young age under the shadow of his great grandfather Tinus de Jongh, and it was only natural that he would be influenced by his Dutch heritage.
Being fully self-taught, his artistic inspiration is drawn from the rugged beauty that South Africa offers and from personal life experiences. He continues to pursue his own experimental and expressive interests in various media and subject matter beyond his main focus areas too.
