About "Umngazi Singers"

This painting was done from a photograph that I took of the Umngazi River Bungalows staff, who dress up in their colourful traditional clothes ,and sing and dance for the guests, every Saturday evening after dinner.

About Tony

I was born in Durban,and have spent my entire life in what I still believe is one of best places on the South African coast.I have always been interested in art since my schooldays, and attended extra art lessons while at school. I am self taught, and have dabbled in painting over the years, but only started painting seriously a few years ago. I am a recently retired bank employee, and now run my own property valuation company,and do painting in my spare time.I enjoy photography and my paintings of wildlife, landscapes, and the many diverse people of our country, are all from photographs that I have taken, or those sent to me by friends.
