About "Village Walk"
This is the view from my upstairs window. People walking their dogs or just strolling by is an everyday sight which always inspires me. Our village is lovely even on a misty day such as this.
I love a challenge and am always planning the next project. Love to learn new techniques and am on a never-ending mission to produce art in any form. I have painted as far back as I can remember. I had a successful Pottery Studio in Richards Bay for 20 years, during which time I was commissioned to do many large murals. Am also very involved with Quilting which has become a recognized form of art and I have had the pleasure of teaching quilting skills to many women in Richards Bay. We moved to Kini Bay, Eastern Cape 2 years ago and since then the wonderful sea view has become my main inspiration. How can one see such beauty every day and not paint? I feel like the luckiest person alive and hope that my paintings can bring joy to other people somehow.
