About "Zulu Lady - Print by Jeremy Houghton"

Jeremy Houghton has recently been an artist in residence for Wimbledon. Jeremy Houghton has worked as an artist in residence with H.M. The Queen and H.R.H The Prince of Wales. Jeremy creates artworks that depict the dynamic world. The subjects and places that characterise these scenes are illuminated by the way that he shapes the spaces between things, and the spaces in which bodies linger, shimmer, move and often take flight. Houghton was official artist for London Fashion Week in 2008 and the Olympics in 2012, artist in residence at Highgrove in 2013, at Windsor Castle in 2014, and at Goodwood in 2015. He is currently artist in residence for Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing and championship artist for Wimbledon 2017

About Celeste

Because I paint fast, acrylic is my preferred medium, I start off a painting with broad painting paintbrushes to allow for a spontaneous background and effect to occur, the painting is then pulled together with a finer brush. When I use oils I do not use brushes but paint with my fingers only. The smaller paintings I do, help me with problem solving in my larger works.
