About "African Lady with Earring" I was inspired by this picture as it is an African version of Johannes Vermeer's painting "the Girl with the Pearl Earring" which he painted as long ago as 1665. The subject is still relevant today. The girl in my painting has a head scarf with an African theme to it and the girl is wearing a silver earring in the shape of the African continent. She is a charming subject. |
