CAPTURING THE TANGO BY PORTRAYING THE DANCERS IN AN IMPOSSIBLE STANCE,USING THE COLOURS OF CHOCOLATE TO CONSTITUTE THE DELICIOUS SEXUAL INTERPLAY BETWEEN THE PARTICIPANTS..THE HEADS OF THE MALE AND FEMALE FIGURES IS A PERFECT FIT, THEIR BODIES BECOME ONE ENTITY WITH FOUR LEGS, THE ONE LEG AS IF ARRESTED IN A MOVEMENT OF ABANDON...BRIGHT ORANGE BACKGROUND SYMBOLIC OF THE FIRE AND ENJOYMENT OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO DANCERS,THE HUMAN PASSION THAT IS PART OF A TANGO

About Christoff

Christoff Basson loved art all his life and has been drawing since schooldays. He started painting in 1982.oils, watercolours and lately acrylics on canvas. His first exhibition was with Richard Scott at the VEO gallery Cape Town during December 2003. Work currently at VEO and Long Street Galleries Cape Town . Received personal tutoring from Olga Hoffman, well known artist, art lecturer and art critic.

This is my experience in creating art….I have no choice. This is how I express what I have lived, and what I experience and observe. The canvas becomes my voice . Hopefully it adds colour and joy. The subject matter is all around us.
