Copper is the biblical symbol of sin in the Bible, and the red pomegranate symbolises Jesus blood on the cross that give us new life and washes our sins away.

About Mandie

I grew up on a farm in Citrusdal, Western Cape. Nowadays I live on a sheep farm, outside Calvinia in the Northern Cape. I am a former primary school teacher, but in the last few years I discovered my real passion...painting (especially oil-painting). I usually use my own photographs to paint from - animals, landscapes, sunsets etc., things that are close to my heart.
I took up painting about 5 years ago and absolutely love it. I did three courses in oil painting, sold many of my paintings on the local market and am now ready to expand my horizons.
