About "Disappearing Rhino"
The rhino is an endangered species, This painting is of a beautiful tree and the rhino is almost an after-thought - if we do not sit up and take notice we will lose this magnificent animal.
Tessa Was born in Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa. As a child she drew horses at any given moment. She did art at school and went on to study Textile design. She has always been inspired by nature and the complexities in particular Africa, it's landscapes and wildlife. She continues to paint horses and manages to capture their 'personality' in their expressions, she has carried this talent into her portrait work too. Tessa still lives in the Natal midlands and paints in any medium or subject on a commission basis.
