About "Elephant Herd Crossing Crocodile River"

This breeding herd was crossing the Crocodile River in the afternoon, followed by three bulls. From my viewpoint at Ngwenya Lodge the herd was but a piece of the great expanse of riverbed and the wilderness of the Kruger National Park in the background. The babies frolicked in the water. Then suddenly, as if by some signal, the whole herd started crossing the river, herding the young between the adults.
