About "Gardenia in Blue"

This picture has always inspired me to paint it. Having gone from soft pastel blues, white and gold and now bright shades of blue, it is one of those paintings that catch the eye and I hope it catches the viewers as well

About Pamela

After studying art with distinction, I returned to my studio after many years bringing up three children. Today I run two bustling art studios, yet my happiest hours are still spent creating, and going to that special place of creativity.

I love working with macro floral art where colourful petals cluster and seem to hold their fragrance. My art is an inner journey to peace.

I also explore semi-abstract paintings, using mixed media as the background, before painting the subject. My playtime.

Whether its macro flora, mixed media semi-abstract, or bold colourful skyscapes, I'm always chasing the elusive quality of light, colour and mood.

I love the diversity in the resulting artworks and I hope my collectors will too!
