About "I'm the Boss"

The sight of an African elephant trumpeting in the bush is one of nature's most powerful displays of strength and authority. Inspired by this commanding moment, I sought to capture the raw energy, confidence, and majesty of a dominant bull asserting its presence across the landscape. The raised head, flared ears, and triumphant trumpet symbolize leadership, resilience, and the untamed spirit of the African wilderness, celebrating one of the continent's most iconic and revered creatures.

About Gary

Zimbabwe-born Gary Streak began exploring a long-held passion for fine art by taking up painting in his spare time in 2005. In his first foray into the world of art he was commissioned to produce a collection of 19 original pieces for the head office of a multinational company in South Africa. The collection, ]Ethnic Reflections, features African art expressed through new, unique and excitingly vibrant digital techniques. The success of this collection led to a second corporate commission.

Towards the end of 2008 he joined the Water Colour Society of South Africa. He became an associate member of the Water Colour Society of South Africa after only two years as a member a relatively rare distinction for a new artist.

As part of his portfolio he has successfully produced and sold ethnic and contemporary abstracts, wildlife, portraits and landscapes using water colour, pencil, acrylic, and mixed-media.
