About "Lady on the Beach"

I live in a little town on the west coast where the howling wind is part of our daily life during the summer months. Thus I was inspired to paint this lady standing on the beach in the wind.

About Odette

For years I've juggled my life between a desk job and motherhood and still do, but hidden was a talent that I've only discovered in 2013. I went to an art class with my sister 3 years ago, not really interested in going but went with just to please her. It awakened something in me that I will be forever grateful to her for dragging me along that day.

I started off with landscape scenes and am now doing more genre painting. I've also done some animal paintings and are especially fond of painting horses. When I paint a calm takes over and it is as if I am living the moment of the painting.

Basically, I am an everyday normal person, working with a family and have the best hobby in the world! I live my life to the fullest as if there is no tomorrow!
