Invented a way to use elephant and rhino dung in hand-made paper manufacture in mid eighties - an idea that has been emulated by artists and crafters all over the world. Pioneered paper art and molded African images in handmade paper. Also working with Aluminum for its shining and textural qualities., while continuing to paint in oils, watercolours, acrylics, pastels multimedia and silk Sheila regularly holds art classes.
One man and group exhibitions every year since 1979. All over South Africa and in London.
