Reference Manta About "Priscilla the Manta " The Manta Ray called, Priscilla Dooley.The photograph was taken by a marine biologist in Sodwana bay whome I got permission from to use it. Soon after completing the piece my much loved granmother passed away. I was contacted to say the Manta Ray has been named after my gran and she has her own number and will forever be in the SA data base for Manta rays.I really enjoyed painting this piece of art and it is very close to my heart. I feel happy and free when looking g at it. |
