About George

Pencil and Pen sketching have always been part of my life for many years,having done amongst other things, sketches of anchorages and atmospheric scenes during our years of yacht cruising overseas. I started painting in 1997 when I did a two year Semester with well known International Artist, Ryno Swart. Other activities have included workshops with Richard Rennie,Joy Rose-Innes,Ray Potter, Penny Steynor and many other Proffessional Artists.I have specialized in watercolour paintings and my works have been displayed at various Art Exhibitions which have resulted in sales to both local and International buyers(Germany,England,Holland,France,Italy,USA),etc. Other creative activities include music(piano),house design and pottery. Art is a very inspirational activity with the opportunity to create works with colour,mood and atmophere. I really enjoy my art and hope that my paintings will pleasure to those who choose to purchase them.
