About "Slow Down"

I took the picture of the turtle while it was strolling along a path in a game reserve. I was
Mesmerise by the massive body and small head. I did not use to much colour in this painting,because I want to capture the different facets of the turtle and it's environment, and the beauty of his movement.
I don't use spray fixatives on my pastel paintings. A layer of fixative over finished piece is likely to dull the colours and change the look of a painting.
