About "Sunderland during a Rescue"

The Sunderland seaplane rescued many downed pilots in the English and the North Sea during the 2nd WW. The German pilots called it the “Flying Porcupine” because of all the guns sticking out of its turrets.

About Mike

I get my inspiration from nature, by observing the different shades and colors in rivers when canoeing or studying landscapes, seascapes and sunsets when ever I can.
When painting I like to think differently. I try to create atmosphere make sure that my color and composition is correct and unique if possible. I prefer to paint from life (location) so that I can capture the correct shades of light, color and atmosphere.
