Reference swallows About "The meeting place" I was asked by The Mission House Gallery to contribute a painting/s to the Art With A Heart exhibition to collect money for childrens homes. We could paint any subject matter as long as it was 20X20cm and somewhere in the painting was to be a heart. I was very busy at the time and struggled to decide what to paint. I came across a lovely photo of a lonely swallow on a barbed wire, who inspired many swallows on miles of wire. These small birds proved very popular. |
