About "The Wedding Tea"

This painting was inspired by my own wedding. The beautiful silver tea set was a wedding gift and the wedding garter and lace gloves was worn by me on my wedding day. This picture celebrates the blessing of finding true love in a tough world. It is a testament to dreams that come true if you have faith and never give up to believe in love.

About Zelna

Zelna Fourie

I am inspired by everything I love such as swimming, dancing, poetry, music, nature as well as fashion. The graceful movement of a ballerina, the poetic atmosphere created by ordinary objects and human portraits and the thousands of stories a facial expression can tell. My art is not limited to one subject choice, I follow my heart and paint pictures that are true to my interests. I like to preserve a sense of innocence and purity in my work. A beautiful image that can inspire the viewer to find something beautiful and integral inside themselves. To pursue something beautiful in their one life on this earth.
