About "Timothy"

A photographer Ben Myburgh captured Timothy's look in Durban. Timothy is a homeless man and looks like he has so much going on that one would like to know about. A friend of Ben asked if I could use the photo to do a charcoal in. Since then Timothy has captured the hearts of everyone who see's his face gracing the home of a dear friend.

Childrens art
A self taught artist exploring her talent over the past 6 years. Showing artistic talent from as young as 6 years old Sharon persued a career in marketing despite always feeling the incredible urge to create. During this creative search Sharon did photograhic courses, decorating and dress designing. Everything but art. Tackling power tools and making and revampimg furniture was next.
Finally, the decision to take time off and paint became a reality and Sharon now works from a studio at her home on a full time basis.
With incredibly varying styles ranging from super realistic to abstract all comissions are welcomed and achieved with success.
Each day Sharon study's other artists and techniques and reads any art related material absorbing as much as she can.
Painting the human form has always been a passion. The abstract works are an explosive release of the unknown. Sharon works on more than one artwork at a time allowing herself to have a varied work schedule.
All artists and day to day objects and scenes are an inspiration for her work.
Sharon quotes, "My artwork is evoked through a process of creation, destruction and recreation before the final transition takes place. Before looking at what I name a work, look at it and see what reaches you, make your own impression and then see my version. Enjoy my work and appreciate our differences as artists."
