About "African Pots"

This artwork was done in Joburgs CBD at an old factory that was turned into a art centre. Various African clay pots were on display and I decided to capture the "authenticity "of these pots with the use of pencil, pastels and watercolour on textured paper.

Christopher Meintjes is a talented artist and interior designer who grew up in cosmopolitan Johannesburg, South Africa.

Throughout my life I've showed a passion for the arts and after high school furthered my studies in interior architecture,graduating with distinction.

I find inspiration in pop culture, music as well as nature.My passion for life and adventure has provided me with the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life whilst travelling to far and exotic locations.
