I was born in Cape Town,South Africa on May 30th 1971. Living on farms all my life, I spent most of my time drawing and painting what I saw around me. I particularly enjoyed painting the rural lands, people, wildlife and horses. At the age of 14 I had my first solo exhibition which was a huge success and my parents allowed me to leave school at the age of 16 and attend the Ruth Prowse School of Art. I then stayed in the city and was consumed by a passion for painting old buildings and streets. The architecture fascinated and excited me and still does 30 years later, making my street scenes my most valuable artworks. I am particularly concerned with light, perspective and expression of movement. My creativity has grown along with my passion for painting, recently adding stainless steel sculptures and designer furniture to my collection. I am also a keen photographer and have a passion for collecting artworks from my fellow artists. I enjoy the constant inspiration for new work as my love for painting is undying
