About "Guineafowl Butterfly"
In Limpopo where I used to go on holiday as a child, these butterflies can be seen in abundance. Some of my favourite subject matter are the smaller insects that can only be truly appreciated when viewed through the zoom lens of a camera. The tiny downy hairs on the bodies of butterflies are much more elaborate when seen up close. These are what can have me hovering around a watering hole for hours taking photographs to paint from.
My love for nature and animals is combined with my love for art. I do each piece of art so as to portray my subject matter in such a way that you may feel that you're seeing it for the first time. I make use of the advantage of a camera zoom lens to get you to see what you might otherwise not.
