About "Horse Jumping"

It's just a horse "playing" and running in the summer, enjoying itself - illusion of jumping over a fence, making use of the "frame"

About Stienie

Stienie le Grange

Stienie Le Grange (du Toit) was born in the Karoo (Nieuwoudtville). At the age of 11, we moved to De Doorns - a beautiful valley in the Western Cape, better known as the Hex Valley. After Matriculation and marriage, I moved to Namakwaland and currently I'm staying in Kuils River, Cape Town.

Life, nature, emotions and that extra "thing" that can be captured, inspires me. You don't need to have diplomas in art or painting to educate yourself if you have a talent and vision to see and captures that specific picture, emotion or reality in your work. To paint give me enormous pleasure, because it is wonderful to see something actually coming alive in front of your eyes - made possible by yourself !

Every compliment or support of a fellow painter, friend or individual inspires me to do what I love most - to paint. I prefer painting on genuine Bovine leather with rough edges, (framed or unframed) but I also paint on canvas - I like animals, landscaping and general pictures.
