About Gerhard Vlok

Painting as Goegels
Gerhard Vlok Was born in Beaufort West 25/11/1953 and worked for Spoornet for 27 years. During 2000 I moved to Hermanus and started a new phase of my life. Painting, reading and walking in nature are my main passions. During 1983 and 1985 I won first prize in painting competitions for the karoo region. Most of my work is privately owned in the Netherlands, England and Germany. I mostly participate in group exerbitions. My paintings and poetry remind me of lessons learned, people loved and places admired. They are windows of my life.
