About "Otter Trail"
the otter trail is known as the prince of trails in south africa. It is very beautiful with the emerald seas and the soft, meandering cliffs this river crossing is part of four paintings intended to be hung together to make one truly huge work. I have not put thhe others on the site yet.

All my life I have drawn and painted. It is an integral part of me and inseparable from the inner me. I have always loved the outdoors and the ever changing light informing the landscape. The restless sea beating at the shore as the waves throw themselves ever higher up the sand, trying to become earthbound. The ancient stillness of Namibia, the timeless kaleidoscope that is India. And, of course, South Africa slowly emerging from its dark past. If you keep very still you can hear the countryside singing that at last it is free.
I try to use my paintings to reflect the hopes and love for life that is so much a part of the human soul. I invite all who view these works to open their souls and listen to the earth sing.
May all who see these paintings derive some pleasure and peace from them and may they leave this site happier than they entered it, Namaste, Margi
