About "Percy" I love rugby and, in my opinion, feel that Percy Mongomery worked hard to get to wear the Green&Gold.As a Springbok he worked tirelessly and is a tribute to the "BOKKE" .When I saw this action shot I just had to paint it.In the photogragh of the painting the boot and fingertips are cropped but that is not the case on the actual painting.I painted the backround with acrylic and percy in oils.The painting has a protective low sheen sealer over it.This painting is currently on a stretcher frame of good quality and I have painted the sides so that it could, as an option, be hung as is. |
