About Dalila

Dalila is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I consider myself primarily an experimental artist in that the process of producing art is as important as the subject matter and the emotions that inspire the finished result. Many a time a painting will take me on a journey that I had not anticipated or planned and that's okay!
My interests lie mainly in colour, texture and tone and I work mostly in mixed media and oils. I will master acrylics though, because they are versatile and lend themselves to lots of experiments - I'm on cloud 9!
I have participated successfully in various group exhibitions and my work can be found in collections both locally and abroad.
I am currently working on material for a solo exhibition.
