About Elize

After completing a four year course with the Ritter School of Arts in Durban, the artist joined the well known art group, Art Alfresco. She enjoyed taking part in their regular exhibi
tions, for eleven years. During this period, she also studied
portaiture under guidance of Guy Savvey. She loved experimen
ting with colour, texture and abstract work under Peter v Blom
menstein. For several years, she was also a member of the High
way Art Group in Westville. During 1990 she moved to Jeffreys
Bay, East Cape, where she founded an art school and presently
still teaches art.
