Gerhard is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Sins childhood I have been looking for ways to express myself ,but it took me years to get to this point in my live; that I fully grasp the reality of a artist soul seeking creativity to express the inner self outwards.

I am fairly “new” in the art industry and have been sculpting for the past 4 years. I have been doing some self teaching and experimenting with different mediums to create something spectacular

As I am working with 3D art I am adding the 4th dimension of emotional, making my sculptures unique in not just plain ornaments but as art in the greater.

The movements of the human body combined with feelings attract my attention, allowing me to be inspired to create something so immensely breath-taking, for other to see and enjoy as I do...

I focus purely on Human posses, and anatomical balances to create the movements and flow of energy .

Combining some of Picasso’s lines and angles and Da Vinci's structural, "geometric-like" precise proportions, together with the work of some well known modern artists/sculptors, I then have such huge field of inspirations to incorporate into my work

I use a variety of different mediums which includes steel frames shaped with plaster, resin mix ,M1 and F1 and mercury-free urethane cold resin to be cast in molds.
