About Eaden

Eaden Young

Eaden is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

My earliest memories are of light, the tinkling of my moms bangles,incredible colours and perfume.

I grew up in a 'gypsy' home where art, music and laughter was the core of my upbringing. Art was a natural, as my entire family are artistic in some form or another.

I matriculated with art as my main subject and to the disappointment of my family, did not finish my art degree.....they were offering so little that I had already learnt from life, surfing, bush-bashing and being aware of colours.

I am a frenetic collector of Bonsai's, I sculpt on amazing bits of wood which I find in the bush or on remote beaches. I am an awarding winning landscape gardener, as this is merely another form of art.

My paintings are random, they reflect my momentary humour, probably my view on life, or just beacuse.

I have a beautiful wife Lindi, and a magnificent son Cohl who is 5. I live in Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape, which is utter paradise.
