About "The Manor"

A trip to the county in the summer ended in a vist to a beautiful French manor house which was a warm family home. This is the view of the kitchen door which was the hub of that home.

About Diana

Diana is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Living in Switzerland as an 'ex-pat'since 2003,I have only recently taken up painting on canvas but have been involved in many different forms of art my whole life. I find that I am motivated to paint on a subject by the glipse of a photo; something in the news. I am very moved by the emotions these stir within me. I use very strong colours in my paintings which many Europeans note as something that seems typical of people who coming from the warm Southern hemisphere.
