About Wayne

I am interested in the human form specifically the female nude. Labeled as a classical artist by my first drawing lecturer, a title that has stuck and one that I embrace, I prefer to paint the nude in a realistic style as this offers fantastic challenges with light, form, tone, translucency etc.

However, instead of the traditional classic nude, I like to portray the model to show innocence and purity, then relocate the model to an environment that encourages the viewer to become the silent hidden witness which starts the questioning process.
