About "Voting Line"
Anthony Harris was commissioned by the Madiba Bay Development Agency (MBDA) in 2010 to create a public sculpture to be based at the drum of the Great Flag at the Donkin Reserve in Nelson Mandela Bay - Port Elizabeth. Konrad Geel, an artist and master CAD operator, was brought on board with his skills and collaborated with Anthony to complete the work in late 2010.

My work explores the complexity of the terrain in ways that challenge the viewers' own boundaries and conventions of romanticizing something, that is, or may occur in the future - moving beyond our preconceived and comfortable human perceptions.
