About Vicky

Vicky was born in England and attended school in the UK but never studied art formally, although she always had a keen interest in various artforms. She moved to South Africa in 1972,returned to the UK in 2012 and is now living in Camberley. Her first passion is watercolours and in 2004, joined the North Coast Art Group. She won the Caroline Smart award that year for the [0x1]Most Promising Newcomer[0x1]. Since then, she has studied other mediums with local artists and in 2006 gained a diploma in fine arts from The London School of Art.

She is passionate about art and inspired to paint whatever, whenever and wherever she can. She has exhibited at local exhibitions in and around Durban and recently Surrey and has sold works in SA, UK and Europe.
