About Irma

My first love is abstract painting. I like simplicity and minimalism and believe that a simple design combined with bold colours and rich textures can deliver a painting which can draw a "wow" from onlookers. I also love landscape painting. I live in the Eastern Free State and the beautiful rural environment - a combination of bright sunlight, rolling hills, interwoven fields and grasslands - inspires me to do bold landscapes with heavy textures.
